Homestead Hack, How to Can Apple Jelly- The EASY WAY!

We love apple jelly. We’ve made it the very difficult way from scratch BUT in this video we show you a homestead hack to make it the quick way and it’s still delicious!

INGREDIENTS:
*4 cups apple juice
*1 package dry pectin
*5 cups sugar

DIRECTIONS:
1.) Combine apple juice and pectin in a large Dutch oven; bring to a boil, stirring occasionally.
2.) Add sugar and bring to a full, rolling boil. Boil 1 minute, stirring constantly.
3.) Remove mixture from heat, and skim off foam with a metal spoon.
4.) Quickly pour hot jelly into hot sterilized jars, leaving 1/2 inch headspace; wipe jar rims. Cover at once with metal lids and screw on bands and tighten lightly
5.) Process in boiling water bath 10 minutes.
