Best Homemade Brats in the World! L.E.M. #22 Big Bite Grinder

In this episode of Homesteadhow we attempt to make the best brat in the world! We unbox our LEM #22 BIG BITE Meat Grinder and we make a batch of homemade authentic Wisconsin Beer Brats from scratch. Our goal is to make the Best Homemade Brats in the WORLD! You won’t believe how they turn out!


8 lbs pork butt (or shoulder), untrimmed
10 ft of hog casings
6 PBR Beer
Large white onion, sliced
2 garlic cloves, crushed

5 teaspoons non-iodized salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon dried marjoram
1 teaspoon ground ginger
1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1 teaspoon caraway seed
1 teaspoon mustard seed
